I am utterly disappointed with my experience with XCover Insurance Company, which I purchased through Booking.com on July 2, 2023. I faced a distressing incident where my bags were stolen at the airport, containing two iPhones and 2700 euros. Regrettably, my ordeal didn't end there; attempting to claim the loss has been an absolute nightmare.
After filing the claim form, XCover Insurance Companydemanded an extensive list of documents to process my claim. I complied with their requests promptly and provided all the necessary files to support my case. However, despite adhering to their requirements, I have not received any response from them for over a month now. This lack of communication is inexcusable and has left me feeling abandoned and without hope of resolving the situation.
The handling of my claim has been incredibly slow and unprofessional. The delay in their response has caused unnecessary stress and financial hardship, making an already difficult situation even more unbearable. It seems like they have no regard for their customers' well-being or the urgency of their predicaments.
I cannot emphasize enough how terrible this experience has been. XCover Insurance Company has proven to be unreliable, unresponsive, and uncaring towards their customers. This has certainly been a lesson learned for me, and I strongly advise against anyone else making insurance with them through Booking.com or any other means.
